What is on a supplier profile?

How to shortlist a supplier

  1. Match the company type to your need — a manufacturer for own-label production, a distributor for stocked lines, an exporter for overseas shipment.
  2. Check they operate in your product category rather than adjacent ones.
  3. Look at location if lead time or freight cost matters.
  4. Send the same requirement to three or four suppliers so you can compare quotes on like terms.

Frequently asked questions

How are suppliers verified on PharmaXperts?

Every company profile is created as pending and reviewed by an administrator before it is published. Suppliers can upload GST registration and drug licence documents to their profile. Verification confirms the paperwork was checked; it is not a commercial guarantee, and buyers should still perform their own due diligence before contracting.

What is the difference between a manufacturer, supplier, distributor and exporter?

A manufacturer produces the product themselves. A supplier sources and sells it, often across several manufacturers. A distributor holds stock and serves a defined territory. An exporter handles international shipment and the documentation that goes with it. Filter by type if you specifically need one.

Can I contact a supplier without registering?

Yes. Quote requests and enquiries are free and do not require a buyer account.
